Crown Rubber Company established to process rubber for the war effort.
1946
Started producing rubber mats and stair treads.
1954
Started Manufacturing Latex Foam used in shoes and bras.
1961
Moved Latex foam business to Kessler Industrial Park.
1964
Two thirds of the company bought by Ludlow Corp.
1969
Ludlow Corp. purchased the remainder of the company.
1973
Started production on foam insoles, Odor Eaters.
1984
Company sold to investors and became a private firm.
1991
Closed factory in Georgia and moved equipment to Ohio.
1994
Added a second plant in Kessler Industrial Park.
1996
Won Ohio Governor's Award for Excellence in Exporting.
1999
Received a patent for our exclusive Comfort King Zedlan Foam.
2000
Won Ohio Governor's Award for Excellence in Exporting.
2004
Combined both Kessler Park plants into one by adding 50,000 sqft.
2009
Named Ohio's "Exporter of the Year" for small and medium-sized businesses.
